Our 2 years old Baby Jacob needs to undergo heart surgery

"Sometimes superheros reside in the hearts of small children fighting big battles."

His name is Aisaiah Jacob Santos Armea, my 2 year old nephew who would love to enjoy the beauty and wonders of life. He was born on the 12th of September, 2017. He is born with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot.

As per research, "in most children, the cause of tetralogy of Fallot isn't known. It's a common type of heart defect. It may be seen more commonly in children with Down syndrome or DiGeorge syndrome. And some children can have other heart defects along with tetralogy of Fallot."

Children with this kind of condition has very limited physical activities. That's why Jacob's playtime is to only watch nursery rhymes while merely lying on the bed. But we want more than that for Jacob. We, his family would love to see him playing with little kids, exploring, learning fun adventures and chasing dreams just like every kid at his age do.

Recently, Jacob has been in and out of the hospital due to his difficulty in breathing. His parents are currently waiting for the Pedia Cardiologist's message to schedule Jacob's 2d echo procedure and other lab tests to make sure his body is in good condition before he undergo the heart operation.Doctors from The Philippine Heart Center said, he needs to be operated after he turns 2 years old and above. Days from now, Jacob will turn 3 which means the operation should be done as quickly as possible. The operation will cost around 320 thousand pesos and up ($6000 and up).

At the moment, his parents are completing all the requirements needed to schedule the operation. They are seeking financial assistance from any charity institutions/organizations that could help.

I am writing this story on their behalf, for my nephew. Kindly help me ease the pain of his parents.
