I want to study football at Manchester United Football school!

Always dreamming of learning football in United Kingdom

Nice to meet you! My name is François Yaya (also know as Lombo), I have 20 years old and I'm from a small village of Cameroon. My dream is to join a football school in Manchester, UK.

All started when I was 8 years old. My studies were stopped abruptly as my parents could not afford them anymore. I spent most of my time playing football. One day on TV, I saw an announcement on the Manchester United Training Center that said: young footballer, whatever your position, wherever you are, we'll be waiting for you! Since that day, I was driven by the dream of being spotted by one of their agents.

I started to join football clubs in my city and practice as much as I could. I always imagined that if my dreams come true, I will become professional and settle in the UK, I will seek to sign contracts with professional clubs that will open their doors to me.

When I earn enough money as a professional football player, I also want to support children with the same difficulties that I had.

My efforts to make my dream come true

I practice football every day in my village stadium. I use all my time for that, excepting during my working shifts. My job is to repair mobile phones, but my monthly income of $ 27 is barely enough to live everyday.

Details on needed amount

The cost required is a total of $ 24,000 for total tuition fee, with ticket reservation, passport and visa application fee, an English language cours for 1 month and 6 months of football training.

This is a tremendous amount of money for someone who gets $ 27 per month.

Schedule

If the project succeeds, I plan to move to UK before this year ends.

I'm already communicating with the school and as soon I get the collected amount I will go to Immigration Office to make my passport while paying the school fees. After getting my passport I will apply for a visa at the British Embassy in my country.
