Funds to finish my research work on "sesamum indicum"

Hello to you all. My name is Abdulazeez Abdulhayu a student of Federal university of technology minna Niger state Nigeria. Department of botany.

I am from Nigeria and an indigene of kogi state Nigeria.

My research

I am currently doing a research work on a named plant called sesame( sesamum indicum) this is an oil crop cultivated in India and most countries in Africa and the world at large.

This work is to improve the crop resistance to pest and diseases, modify the capsule to make sure I get an enclose capsule by subjecting the plant to Alpha radiation at different doses, checking the proximate, anti nutritional, morphological, genetic variability, and chlorophyll content, improving crop resistance to drought, and modify the plant to get better yield through planting of different mutant generations. (M1 to M10) if possible. This project is aimed at ensuring food security and productivity.

I will need to go for further studies and adequate research materials is need so as to achieved the stated aim.

This plant is an oil plant that is of great economic importance. I have started the work with my little earning but I need more fund to make this dream a reality.

I have partner with national research institute of the country but this is a self sponsored research work for me.

Economic situation

The economy of the country is bad. The government has no fund to assist such project.

Hence paying my institutional fee couple with this work and going for further studies is a tedious one.

Although I teach on an extra moral basis but this project is bigger than my earning hence I need the help of everyone.

Provision of fund through selling of developed seed.

Upon the completion of my project, I intend selling the seed of the developed plant to government across the after a thorough scrutiny from relevant agencies such as NAFDAC, WHO and NAFP as well as convince the government on the seed to embrace agricultural development and genetic engineering.

How I will use the funds

Payment of previous depth owned and fixed an amount for next years continuation of project.

Carry out my work in a more standard laboratory with good equipment to get a desirable result. Invest some amount in a friend Aviculture business to generate more income.

Schedule

If aim is achieved at the end of my research work, i will Sell the developed seeds to the government and start an Apiculture, mushroom and Heliculture business with the generated income.

As well as set a research foundation and also built an orphanage. If not achieved sell my research idea, get paid and start my business.
